Biden Signs New National Security Memorandum-22
US President Joe Biden today signed National Security Memorandum-22, codifying the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency’s (CISA) role in overseeing critical infrastructure safety.
The goal of the memorandum is to strategize, collect, produce, and share intelligence to help operators and owners of critical infrastructure be more prepared for cyber threats.

Verizon Business’ “2024 Data Breach Investigations Report” reveals the 180% surge in vulnerability exploitation attacks last year.
The report also disclosed that ransomware accounted for 32% of breaches and that 68% of breaches involved non-malicious human elements.
