US President Donald Trump issues a new cybersecurity-related Executive Order, overriding previous orders issued by former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The Executive Order will focus on “critical protections against foreign cyber threats and enhancing secure technology practices.”
Chinese Hackers Target Top Government Orgs
Chinese government-backed hackers were caught in a failed attempt to breach security firm SentinelOne by hacking their IT vendor. Upon investigation, SentinelOne discovered that the Chinese hackers had been targeting several government and critical infrastructure organizations globally.
