Cisco Launches AI Assistant for Cloud Security Platform
Cisco Systems, Inc. announced at the Cisco Live Conference in Melbourne, Australia, an AI assistant to help with cybersecurity measures by quickly providing advanced data analysis, policy recommendation, and automated task management to their customers.
Named the “Cisco AI Assistant for Security”, to be made available in Cisco’s unified security platform, was designed to issue timely warnings, and streamline incident responses.
New Sophisticated Attacks Demonstrated by Disney+ Impersonators
Abnormal Security published a study revealing a Disney+ impersonation attack, demonstrating never-before-seen phishing tactics.
The cybercriminals initiated the impersonation attack through an auto-generated notification email, about pending charges for their Disney+ subscription. The emails also demonstrated customized PDFs, with legitimate numbers & emails, inflated charges, and believable branding.
Klarytee Bags $700k in Pre-Seed Funding
UK-based Klarytee announced securing $700k in pre-seed funding led by Concept Ventures, with support from Michael Coates, former Twitter CISO, Evelyn Bourke, former Group CEO of Bupa, the founders of Digital Shadows, Brad Cable, ex-Managing Director of Accenture, and Desigan Chinniah, Board Member of The Tor Project.
