The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) launched the 2024 Law Enforcement Resource Guide to provide training and resource support covering cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure protection, among other safety preparedness topics.
The DHS resource guide was prepared to act as a safety directory for a variety of US law enforcement agencies and select information sharing and analysis centers dealing with information relating to national security.
Fidelity National Financial Ransomware Attack Puts Over 1M Customers at Risk
An announcement from Fidelity National Financial (FNF) warns its customer base of 1.3M that their data is at risk due to a ransomware attack the company was a victim of last year.
Disclosing the ransomware attack to the SEC last week, FNF states that the attack is still under investigation. During its prior investigations, it was found that the ALPHV/BlackCat ransomware gang claimed the attack on FNF.

The open-source data repository platform’s legitimacy is now being leveraged cleverly by threat actors who are “living-off-trusted-sites”. However, the limitations in the site’s file size and storage stopped large-scale payloads used for data exfiltration from being delivered.
