Healthcare Attacks will not Slow Down in 2025
According to a report by Netwrix, 84% of organizations in the healthcare sector faced a cyber attack in 2024 and predicts this will not slow down in 2025.
The report also found that nearly 70% of healthcare organizations have dealt with financial damages brought about by cyber incidents. Additionally, 21% reported a change in leadership due to the attacks last year.

Or Salom from YL Ventures in an interview with Help Net Security, reported 50 seed rounds reaching $400M for Israeli early-stage cyber startups.
Additionally, 16 C+ rounds in 2024 is also a vast improvement in the country’s cyber ecosystem compared to just 7 in 2023.

PowerSchool reported a ‘potential’ data breach exposing sensitive student and staff information from its PowerSource service.
While denying it was a ransomware attack, the company reportedly paid attackers to prevent data misuse. Cybersecurity experts warn such actions could encourage more attacks on schools, underscoring the need for better cyber defenses.
