The attacker may have accessed Wiles’ contacts via phone hacking or publicly available data, with possible motives ranging from political manipulation to financial fraud.

🛡️ ConnectWise Breached by Suspected Nation-State Actor

ConnectWise, the developer of remote access software ScreenConnect, disclosed a cyberattack likely perpetrated by a nation-state threat actor. The breach exploited a high-severity vulnerability (CVE-2025-3935) patched in April. The company has engaged Google Mandiant for a forensic investigation and has notified affected customers.

Unbound Security Raises $4M Seed Funding
