Trojanized apps identified in Google Play Store list
Trojanized Telegram and Signal apps are being used to spread BadBazaar spyware, which can, among other things, provide device location, steal call logs and SMSes, record phone calls, export contact lists, steal files, and take pictures through a phone’s camera. Threat actors also created websites for the malicious apps, which are called Signal Plus Messenger and FlyGram, which were sold through the Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store.

LogicMonitor customers have been targeted in a recent spate of cyberattacks. News sources say that the bad actors hacked into customers’ accounts and were then able to create local accounts and deploy ransomware.
Another celebrity account hack leaves fans reeling
Josh Seiter of The Bachelorette fame has announced to fans that he is ‘alive and well.’
Reports say his Instagram account was hacked, and the hacker pronounced him dead before he realized the account had been compromised.
This is not the first report of a hacker-initiated celebrity death notice in recent weeks. Rapper Lil Tay claimed last month she was ‘hacked’ in a ‘jarring’ attack, which caused deep emotions to rise in fans on hearing from her hacker she had passed away.
