📅 Chinese Hackers Exploit Google Calendar for Malware Operations

Google’s Threat Intelligence Group reports that Chinese state-sponsored group APT41 is using Google Calendar to embed malware and execute operations on compromised devices. The malware, dubbed TOUGHPROGRESS, uses encrypted calendar events to receive commands and exfiltrate data, highlighting the creative tactics of elite cyber threat groups.
