The FBI warns the public about rising fraud schemes using generative artificial intelligence. The FBI observed that GenAI can be utilized by hackers to create fraudulent social media accounts, generate false websites to entice cryptocurrency investors, and create AI chatbots in order to lure victims into clicking malicious links.

A report from InsiktGroup shows that Kremlin-backed hacker group BlueAlpha has been utilizing network service CloudFare in order to administer targeted cyber attacks. According to the report, the threat actor group abuses CloudFare’s secure tunneling services to hide their servers and connections, enabling them to carry out malware campaigns against individuals and organizations in the Ukraine more effectively.
