Microsoft Pauses AI Copilot+ Feature Rollout Due to Safety Concerns – June 14th

Kulicke & Soffa Hit by Data Breach

Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (K&S) announced they were affected by a data breach that compromised approximately 12 million files.

The sensitive information stolen from K&S includes source code, engineering data, business partner information, and personally identifiable information (PII)

Ascension Breach Happened Through Accidentally Downloaded File

Ascension revealed that their systems were infiltrated by an employee who accidentally downloaded a malicious file.

The attack forced the provider to divert ambulances, postpone patient appointments, and prevent access to electronic health records (EHR)

Microsoft Recalls AI Copilot+ Feature Due to Safety Concerns

Microsoft revealed that it’s placing the AI-powered Copilot+ feature for PCs on hold due to critical safety concerns.

“We are adjusting the release model for Recall to leverage the expertise of the Windows Insider community to ensure the experience meets our high standards for quality and security,” Microsoft said in an update.
