Mid-Market Companies Invest 285% More in Cybersecurity

Corsica Technologies released a study that revealed mid-market companies invest 285% more in cybersecurity-managed services and sales growth.

The study also revealed that 74% identified legacy software, and 52% found data integration to be a couple of the main challenges faced by midmarket companies.

Wendy’s Hit by Payroll Breach

The Wendy’s franchise contacted individuals affected by a recently reported payroll breach through Paycor, its HR and payroll management provider.

As part of Wendy’s notifications to affected individuals, they disclosed that unauthorized users gained access to sensitive employee information, including social security numbers and home addresses.

Indian Government Data Leak Unnoticed for Years

Security researcher Sourajeet Majumder revealed that a data leak on the Indian government went unnoticed for years.

The information includes hundreds of publicly available documents containing citizen data. The breach was caused by a flaw in the Indian government’s cloud service, which has since been patched.
