‘Ransomania’ Ransomware Repository Launches

Cyberint announced the launch of ‘Ransomania’ a free-to-use ransomware attack repository featuring thousands of recorded ransomware attacks.  

Ransomania allows users to browse a global map of ransomware hotspots, filtered by region, industry, and time of attack.

$26M Worth of Crypto Stolen from FixedFloat Hack

FixedFloat confirmed a hack on their crypto exchange, resulting in $26M worth of Bitcoin and Ether.

The breach stems from “minor technical problems” according to FixedFloat executives, the crypto exchange has yet to disclose more information on the cyber attack. 

Anatsa Banking Trojan Expands Campaign to Eastern Europe

ThreatFabric released a report, unveiling the expanding ‘Anatsa’ trojan campaign, which includes Slovakia, Slovenia, and Czechia.

Anatsa’s trojan infiltrates user systems by evading Google Play’s enhanced detection and protection mechanisms, disguising itself as innocuous Google Play apps. Once infected, ‘Anatsa’ may gain full remote control of user devices.
